About Trinity Academy

Trinity Academy is an independent, privately funded, tuition-free elementary school, serving students in grades one through four and their families in the Hartford area. Our mission is to educate students in a nurturing and inclusive environment with a focus on intensive academics, the arts, literacy and critical thinking, and to help students to develop the strong core skills needed to grow socially, emotionally and culturally.

Now in our tenth year, Trinity Academy was started in response to the belief that every child deserves quality education opportunities. At the same time, there was unused space connected to Trinity Episcopal Church in the Asylum Hill neighborhood of Hartford. This was the exciting intersection of need and opportunity from which Trinity Academy was born!

- We believe our innovative approach helps students to think and work independently while building a strong educational foundation by offering the following:

Small classes (averaging between 8 and 12 students per class)
Individualized learning plans
Healthy breakfast, lunch, and snacks
Chromebook technology for each student, as well as SmartBoard technology in every classroom
Field trips
Friday Fun Clubs
Specials (Gym, Music, and Art)
No lottery system needed for admission
Family engagement
